World Premiere First Listen: Jaguar Wright makes "My Choice"

Philly-based singer/songwriter Jaguar Wright has earned a name of reverence in R&B circles for her gutsy vocals and her truthful songs about relationships. She first came to the attention of some fans with her background vocal stint at Jay-Z' MTV Unplugged appearance in 2001. But it was her two albums, Denials Delusions and Decisions and Divorcing Neo to Marry Soul, where she staked her claim as a force in popular music.

 

It's been too long since we heard new music from Jaguar, but she'll be returning with a new album this September. In the meantime, we are very proud to be bringing her back to SoulTrackers with the World Premiere First Listen of a brand new song from Jaguar that hits stores on May 6th. It's a classic sounding Philadelphia relationship ballad, with Jaguar just sounding great. It is also the first single from the upcoming album.
