(May 7, 2021) Last year, we were proud to premiere for the world the incredible Jarrod Lawson song, "Be The Change," one of the most lauded songs of 2020, and for many the initiation to this uber-talented Portland-based singer. The accompanying album was an absolute gem, as well as a hit in country after country.
Now, mixmaster Michele Chiavarini has taken the rich song and given it a fresh new look. The remix of "Be The Change" literally pops from the speakers, a tasty piece of soulful house that emphasizes the positive lyrics of the song and gives the song a feel that lies somewhere between Roy Ayers and Incognito.
This is a perfect addition to our summer playlist, and we think SoulTrackers are going to dig it. The new single is available now at Traxsource, and will be out everywhere on May 21.
