Featuring Chris Camozzi on guitar, "Nightcap" is an all-out groove that is equally heavy on the melody and the musicianship. DeLaire and Camozzi display great chemistry on the track, with great interplay throughout. While this cut is radio ready for the Smooth Jazz market, DeLaire does not want this song to be simply considered a traditional song in that market. With "Nightcap," DeLaire states that his mission is to "Infuse some funk and R&B into the Smooth Jazz genre."

With the funky groove and the clean pocket of the cut, it is clear that this is a mission that was successfully accomplished
