    (January 30, 2018) -- Through life’s ebbs and flows, Jonquia Rose always persevered no matter what drama and difficulties she faced, undoubtedly under the inspiration and gifts passed on by her mother, who once sang with the renowned Mississippi Mass Choir.  The current California resident balances affection for her artistry with her pursuit of psychology and music, elements that propel her songwriting approach in living life to the positive fullest.

    Now with the formal college education behind her, Rose will be releasing an upcoming 2-part autobiographical E.P., Single Mom.  Her introductory single, "From The Ashes" (G2 Productions), teaches listeners to adjust their attitudes in picking themselves up from the dreaded personal pit -- in an easy-going, R&B/hip-hop way.  The accompanying video simply reflects Rose enjoying the positive flow along with DJ/producer DJ Self Born.  Who says healing needs to be experienced through a slow intense ballad?  Apparently, Rose did not receive that memo when delivering her mission statement, conveyed throughout “From The Ashes.” Check it out.l
