The prodigal son’s returned. The UK’s best kept secret that won’t be a secret much longer is Kwabena “Kwabs” Adjepong, a rich baritone powerhouse whose instrument has filled the halls of Buckingham Palace singing repertoire standards like “Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child” for the Royal Family when it’s not in more intimate rooms covering the pop works of James Blake’s “Wilhelm Scream” and Corrine Bailey Rae’s “Like A Star” for YouTube fans.

After wowing us with his original last summer, “Lay Back,” Kwabs has returned with not one but two free live downloads of original rock soul hybrids for those who sign-up for his newsletter from Kwab’s Facebook page, including a live version of this Spring’s “Spirit Fade.”

We decided to share the video from one of the two treats, we have only seen the lyrics for from Kwabs’ Tumblr page, “Calling Out.” We say get it while you can, because the secret won’t be secret for long now that Kwabs has signed a new record deal with Atlantic Records. Soon everyone will be talking about the lean brother with the enormous voice. Stick with us at SoulTracks and you’ll always be ahead of the game…and abreast of what’s going on with this signature talent.
