SoulTrackers may not have heard of singer and songwriter Lilla, but the young artist has made a name for herself in music circles working with a variety of stars ranging from Esperanza Spalding to Trombone Shorty to Willie Nelson.

The Portland native made some waves with her debut album The Awakening and now is returning with a dance groove that should get her fans moving. “Don’t Stop The Music” was written by Lilla with legendary R&B man Marlon McClain and Rochad Holiday, and boardman Eric Kupper gives it a decidedly disco feel.

Though the vibe of the song pre-dates Lilla’s birth, the young star handles it deftly, and gives a performance that should sound just right for dance music fans.
