(July 8, 2021) Sometimes you hear about a combination of artists that sounds too good to be true…but it isn’t. SoulTrackers fell in love with singer Lindsey Webster a half dozen years ago, when we first featured her single “Fool Me Once.” Several #1s later she has become a soul and contemporary jazz favorite. Jazz trumpeter and producer Lin Rountree has been on our radar even longer, and has always brought the goods.

Now issuing his latest album, Fluid, Roundtree has brought in Lindsay as a co-writing and vocal partner on a smooth midtempo about finding someone who “loves me for me.” The two turn out to sound just as great together as we hoped, delivering a slow-grinder that is captivating in its sweet groove.

Check out “Me for Me” below and enjoy this dream pairing of two great artists.
