Tough to believe that the legendary Manhattans went a full fifteen years between recordings. Since then the group experienced the death of co-founder Blue Lovett, but Gerald Alston continued to soldier on with group mates David Tyson and Troy May.

Last October, the trio returned with a brand new song that has their classic sound, all fronted by Gerald's unmistakable tenor voice. "Get It Ready" is a midtempo number about a man who has decided to cancel all his other plans in order to come home directly to his love. And now they've issued a brand new video for the song, which should make their millions of fans smile.

It's great to hear the Manhattans return to recording after the long absence, and even better to know how great they sound. Check out the video for "Get It Ready" below and welcome back an old favorite!
