He may not be a household name, but Marcus Machado is one of the most respected young guns in the music business. A child guitar prodigy once labeled as “Young Jimi Hendrix,” Machado has grown to be a force and one of the most sought-after guitarists around, having worked with a "who's who" of artists ranging from Lalah Hathaway to Robert Glasper to Living Colour.

In addition to supporting other artists, Machado is now establishing his own recording career, which he continues with his newest single, “I Can’t Lose,” a bluesy, driving number that makes you sweat just listening to it. Featuring noted singer and The Vanguard (D’Angelo’s travel group) member Jermaine Holmes on lead vocals, “I Can’t Lose” has the authentic feel of a blues classic but brought forward with an immediacy that should appeal to modern R&B and rock fans alike.
