Mastered at the famed Abbey Road Studios, this spirited single is the first to come from the batch of new songs expected to land on Millar’s debut LP, Heaven Knows, which is slated for release in June. But the road to its arrival came with its share of challenges. From the raging coronavirus pandemic forcing studio sessions into remote recording to a painful back injury back in 2020 that almost left her paralyzed, Millar endured and pushed forward with ambition.
This new season of original music also comes with fresher responsibilities as the UK singer executive produced and directed the concept video for “Preacher Man.” It’s a refreshing creative credit that shows her tenacity and strong willingness for the song’s propelling presentation.
