(July 25, 2019) When one's name stands for “God brings joy,” it certainly sparks confidence in that person’s ability to spreading infectious joy, especially through a musical gift.  That is the case with West African native Myoa, who conducted mini singing concerts with her sisters as a child, and wrote her first song at age nine.  But as life progressed, there was a temporary season for Myoa where studying for a financially sound career seemed the best route.  However, her call of spreading musical joy continued tugging at her core.  Thus, she risked the lucrative job of finance for an artistic opportunity by heading to the Musicians Institute in Hollywood.  The fruits of Myoa’s loving labor include “Ololufemi (My Love),” which was featured on a 2018 compilation project with top gospel stars such as Hezekiah Walker and Shirley Caesar, and “You,” a stirring personal scenario of breaking shackles that bind unhealthy relationships.
