(December 13, 2020) We’ve been singing the praises of Welsh singer and songwriter Nate Williams for nearly a decade. With a sound that at times touches on Michael Jackson or Bobby Caldwell influences, he shows himself to be an unabashed fan of Stevie Wonder. And while he wears his inspirations, he clearly is an artists with a keen sense of his own songwriting and performing, making him his own performer.
In time for the holidays, Nate has issued a new EP that reminds us of his ability to create absolute earworms, my favorite of which is the upbeat, harmony filled “Be With You On Christmas Day.”
The song is the tale of a guy who is feeling too far from his love, but is counting the days until they’re together for Christmas. It is sweet, relatable emotion, and the song is 100% engaging.
