Noel Gourdin first came to the attention of soul music fans with "The River," one of the truly seminal songs of the past decade. It catapulted him to the front of the line for R&B singers and won for him a legion of loyal fans.
It's been a couple years since we've heard from Noel, but he is returning with the new album City Heart, Southern Soul, scheduled to release February 18, 2014 on Top Notch Music/Shanachie Entertainment. That's still a month away, but we have a sneak peek with Noel's brand new single, "Heaven Knows," a bluesy love ballad that is a nice intro to his sound of today.
