While self-contained R&B/funk bands were staples of the 70s and 80s, they’re becoming rarer by the year these days. But going against the grain is the high energy R&B band Orgone. "Orgone reminds me very much early Rufus and classic Sly & The Family Stone in their combination of great vocals with great grooves that blend elements of funk, R & B and rock," says Shanachie Entertainment GM Randall Grass. "And I believe they have grown to the point that they are poised to break out."

Founding member/guitarist Sergio Rios says "The band is sounding and performing the best it's ever been.” And Orgone shows that hot sound on the Shanachie debut album Beyond The Sun. Bandmembers bring a classic big sound to 2015.
