Male vocalists sing songs that express vulnerability as often as they give us stories of where they wax rhapsodic about a woman’s beauty or hit us with stories of their bedroom prowess. In short, a love song of old is one where the singer is perceived to have all the answers.
On “Honesty,” vocalist Pink Sweat$ definitely does not have the answers, and the song combines a simple yet enthralling musical arrangement that features Pink Sweat$’ buttery tenor paired with an acoustic guitar and lyrics that dispense with the mush and go all in on for some real talk.

“Honesty” finds the vocalist engaged in a conversation with a lady who wants and needs some assurances before she goes all in on this relationship.
