(September 11, 2020) We have seen a wide variety of responses from musicians and artists to the current pandemic we are facing. While some have tried to keep things in perspective and adjust in the best ways possible, others have endured a flurry of emotions that can impact their ability to create. Percy Jones III AKA PJ3 fell in the latter category for awhile, but he is working his way out by putting the finishing touches on his EP, and releasing his first single from it, entitled "Here With Me."

Percy Jones III AKA PJ3 fell in the latter category for awhile, but he is working his way out by putting the finishing touches on his EP, and releasing his first single from it, entitled "Here With Me."
A 90s R&B throwback ballad in form and structure, “Here With Me” takes us through the trials of a man finding chemistry with a woman he met through a mutual friend. He also chronicles the challenges of being away from the woman he loves while being in the road. The lyrical constant on this track is the importance of the commitment between man and woman and the importance of communicating that commitment. PJ3 weaves back and forth between his falsetto and natural tenor voice in a way that also takes us back to 90s era Eric Benet and D'Angelo.
