Porter, of course, helped craft the sound of Memphis soul as the first staff songwriter hired at Stax Records and he wrote memorable records for a host of artists, including Sam & Dave with his writing partner Isaac Hayes.

Porter went on to write hits and award winning songs performers ranging from pop vocalist Mariah Carey to hip-hop star Will Smith. Porter knows talent, and in the Memphis native Porcelan, he’s found a vocalist who can fuse the blues of the Mississippi delta with the sanctified sound of the Church of God in Christ to recreate that unique band of Memphis soul, Porcelan does just that on her debut single, an emotional ballad titled “The Real Thing Don’t Change,” which recently hit the charts.

The brand new video for the song is a lovely look at love and a relationship that is growing into something for a lifetime. We're proud to present the WORLD PREMIERE of "The Real Thing Don't Change."Check it out.
