(January 22, 2020) Singer/songwriter Qupid returns with a sultry single that will find its way onto a Quiet Storm playlist or two. “Don’t Tease Me,” the lead single from his newest album, Those Who Wait, is a slow jam that is meant for the bedroom, as Qupid talks to his wan about his plans with her, yet hoping that she doesn’t “tease him and leave him.”

This song is somewhat of a throwback, as Qupid's falsetto echoes Marvin Gaye in his prime, while his natural tenor compares to Phil Perry.  His vocal versatility helps in bringing the song home. While at one point this song was not planned for the album, Qupid was ultimately persuaded into including it and the result is a strong first single from an artist who is accurately monikered “Modern Classic.”
