(August 22, 2017) The name will Reggie Boone may have been a new one to most SoulTrackers when we introduced him earlier this year with his great ballad, “Lord Thank You,” but his mellifluous vocal stylings will remind them of some of the all-time great soul singers. The Dallas-based singer has been performing his whole life, and his ability to translate life circumstances into a musical style has made him a vocalist for the ages.
Reggie was first discovered by Steve Harvey, and he has spent his career performing in front of audiences around the U.S. and U.K. working with Mr. Harvey and others.
Reggie has a new single that again shows off his expressive voice. “Stand” opens with a sax solo and programmed percussion before Reggie opens up, singing about the need to be ready for a blessing that will come. It is a solid midtempo and a nice addition to Reggie’s previous discography.
