While the wait continues for her debut E.P., Chapman's latest offering and First Listen focus, "Slow It Down" soaks in utter calmness, breaking down an escape route from life's hustle and bustle with someone special: "Let’s go away somewhere / Just me and you / Tell each other all the things that we’ve been wanting to." Crystal clear backing voices flowing through layers of Rhodes piano and a fluid sax solo provide hints of seventies’ contemporary jazz, all presented in top-notch form with Chapman’s production, arrangements and lead voice.
