(September 9, 2017) -- Sheila E has been an integral part of the worlds of jazz, soul, funk and Latin music for more than three decades, and she still has an awful lot to say, as she shows on her newest album, Iconic: Message 4 America.

The album is full of great songs and guest appearances by artists ranging from George Clinton to The Revolution, but one song that really hits us is "Jesus Children of America." With a sound that mixes in Gospel call-and-response, a funky backbeat and glorious vocal performances all around, it is both uplifting and refreshing. We think SoulTrackers are going to dig it completely. And the song also bears an uncredited harmonica solo that sounds like it may be Stevie Wonder.

This may be one of the great songs of 2017, so sit back and enjoy this master artist at work!
