Mashing up the Leon Russell classic made famous by Donny Hathaway, “A Song for You,” with the new hip hop classic by rapper wunderkind Kendrick Lamar, “Sing About Me,” Sriram takes the essence of both songs’ themes of posthumous remembrance and love and makes something new.
