First Listen: Herb Alpert and Devin Morrison help Sidibe get "Ready"

(July 20, 2021) LA-based singer Sidibe brings a lot of musical influences into her music, in part due to her Senegal and Louisiana family roots. And she has found a place in the modern musical world, working with such notables as Warryn Campbell and Common, for whom she wrote “Raw (How You Like It).”

On her newest single, she teams with modern soul man Devin Morrison and legendary trumpeter Herb Alpert on a beautiful midtempo that combines elements of pop and R&B. “Ready Enough” has a vibe that would find a place alongside the music of H.E.R. or Daniel Caesar, but would also feel right at home on contemporary jazz radio. Most of all, it is an absolute earworm that effectively combines the singer's light vocal tones with a ethereal wall of sound that feels just right.

We’re loving this tune and think SoulTrackers will too. Check out “Ready Enough” and get ready to hear more from Sibide.
