But with the smash hit “Leave The Door Open” a few months ago, they found out that the two artists were creating a loving tribute to the great soul music of the 1970s – one that please multiple generations.
Now they’re at it again with their second advance single from their upcoming album, and it is a dance gem that has us moving in our seats. “Skate” is lush grooving jam that would have fit in 1979 just as is does in 2021.
And if the song is a fun rump, the accompanying video may even better, an homage to the skate-tastic era of the late 70s and early 80s that is 100% smile inducing.
