(November 11, 2021) In this era of artists releasing debut "albums* that are actually EPs of 4-6 songs, Detroit-based singer/songwriter Siloam Pool breaks this cycle with a full-bodied, 10-song debut album release entitled Simple Complexity. And right on the heels of her successful first single of "7 Days," Siloam follows up with the equally alluring single of "Let It Go."

A track that fits perfectly on Smooth Jazz and Urban Adult Contemporary playlists alike, "Let It Go," is a mid-tempo cut that deals with how difficult it can be to break free from things that can keep you from reaching your goals. Siloam provides an encouraging lyric on the verse as she challenges the listener: "What's this lie you're believing, don't believe it no more, come on this is your moment to come alive, the truth makes you free."

Siloam's vocal delivery helps to give balance to the song, and also makes the vibe of even more uplifting. Lyrical flexible enough to apply it to various scenarios, the breadth of message in “Let It Go” should resonate with a wider audience. That Siloam is a former member of Fred Hammond's Radical For Christ group who also battled a bout of stage fright at one time, only adds to the personal reflection that comes through on this song.

Check out "Let It Go" by Siloam Pool and after doing so, be sure to take her album Simple Complexity for a spin. It's full of positivity that is always needed in our musical landscape.
