(November 2, 2019) Mick Hucknall, known to most as the leader of the band Simply Red, has been part of our lives since he burst on the scene in 1983 with the back to back blue eyed soul hits "Holding Back The Years" and "Money's Too Tight (To Mention)." Those began a string of memorable songs that brought Simply Red acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic.

The English act has continued to record regularly for three and a half decades and is now readying a brand new album called, appropriately, Blue Eyed Soul. Hucknall already has a hit from the album with the rollicking first single, "Thinking of You," and he follows it up now with a slice of Memphis Soul. "Complete Love" sounds like a long lost Al Green song, and Hucknall takes on a bit of the Reverend's persona and he croons his way through the number.

We think SoulTrackers are going to enjoy this piece of old school soul. Check it out below and tell us what you think.
