Following in the steps of such artists as Frank Sinatra and Lionel Richie, Smokey is readying a new album of duet covers of some of his past hits. These types of albums have, at times, been inspired, and at times have been forgettable. We don't know which will be the case on the upcoming Smokey & Friends, but we like what we're hearing with our first sneak peek: Mr. Robinson teams with the red hot John Legend for a faithful, but quite enjoyable cover of the Smokey song that inspired a new brand of music radio in the 70s, "A Quiet Storm."
