First Listen: Smoove and Turrell Look for the “Lady”

    (October 7, 2016) A couple years ago we introduced SoulTrackers to UK duo Smoove and Turrell. Jonathan Scott Watson (Smoove) and John Turrell combine elements of classic R&B and Funk to give a fresh new sound that has been labeled "UK Northern Funk."

    For their latest song, due in October on Jalapeno Records, the duo take a step off the beaten path, issuing an electric, funky cover of the classic Hot Chocolate and April Wine song, “Could’ve Been A Lady.” This will be a flash back for some SoulTrackers and a new one to some others.
