(October 1, 2016.)   It’s probably not easy going through life as Beyonce’s kid sister, but Solange has managed to carve her own lane musically with interesting, creative and boundary-bending releases.  And with her recently-dropped, long-awaited 3rd album, A Seat at the Table, Solange continues to experiment and exhibits considerable growth as an artist.  The record is a compelling mix of sounds and textures drawn from jazz, soul, R&B and hip hop.

We feature here “Don’t Touch My Hair,” a lovely and spare ballad featuring an ever-so-delicate vocal over a tasty beat and a cushion of soft horns.  Enjoy.
