With lead vocalist Shahi Teruko and a rhythm section to die for, TSM should be making some big waves south of the border for this new disc.
The first single from the album, “Modern Superwoman,” has a classic soul sound brought up to date, Teruko sings it like her life depends on it, and the band (Marc Shapiro on Bass, Voltaire Ramos on Guitar, Doug Melville on Drums, James Robinson on Keyboards, and Derek Thorne on Percussion) consistently on point.
