(January 20, 2022) Sydney Raneé - an L.A.-based singer, songwriter, and producer - has been called “a mega talent to keep your eyes on,” and we at SoulTracks have been keeping our eye on her talent for some time now.  Her music has been featured on television (911: Lone-Star, Dynasty, and MTV’s The Real World); her previous singles have received radio airplay in the U.S. and U.K.; and she’s performed on the Daytime Emmys for the past two years.

Now, we’re happy to premiere Sydney’s brand new single, “Wake Up and Get It”, which is the second single from her forthcoming EP.  The song is about overcoming depression and living each day to the fullest.  Sydney opens the single addressing the stress and weight of the world but soon learns that she is in control of her feelings and gains power back over her life.  She sings of going from a breakdown to a breakthrough.  That’s certainly a relatable topic because just about everybody has experienced both sides of that spectrum in some way.

That said, Sydney hopes that “Wake Up and Get It” – which she wrote and produced independently – will be your new motto, especially since 2022 is underway, and many look at the start of a new year as an opportunity to reset and refocus on achieving their goals.

So, check out our World Premiere of Sydney Raneé’s new single, and let her motivate you to “Wake Up and Get It.”  We can always use a musical pick-me-up, and this is definitely the type of track to get you going!
