(March 26, 2018) At a time when children are marching in Washington, DC and in their hometowns fighting for change, fighting seemingly intractable systems rigged against their voices, music again echoes the sentiment of the moment. Some people thinks of a cappella group Take 6 as being full of happy harmonies, but the group has, in its own way, addressed the issues of the world, from faith to justice to love of fellow humans.
With its new single, the septet again hits a positive social note, covering the classic Eric Clapton/Babyface song "Change The World." With their usual intricate harmonies, they give a joyous, hopeful version of a song that we all know. They sound great and they sound completely on time. It is the first single from their upcoming album Iconic.
