Their original claim to fame came as The Hamiltones, the backing vocalist for soul crooner Anthony Hamilton. When J. Vito, Tony Lelo, and 2E weren’t posted 20 feet away from soul superstar Hamilton, The Hamiltones cemented their reputation for harmony and creativity with a series of soulful reinterpretations of R&B and hip-hop hits. The most notable was their harmonized take on Drake’s “Hotline Bling” that went viral hours after being posted online.

Vito, Tony Lelo, and 2E weren’t posted 20 feet away from soul superstar Hamilton, The Hamiltones cemented their reputation for harmony and creativity with a series of soulful reinterpretations of R&B and hip-hop hits. Now, The Ton3s look to carve their own path with an original tune titled “Lose It,” a cut that incorporates elements of smooth 1980s R&B with production values that draw heavily from contemporary hip-hop infused R&B. The song features those signature tight harmonies that The Ton3s displayed both during their time with Anthony Hamilton, as well as in their beloved interpretations.
“Lose It” finds the trio showcasing their distinct vocal stylings on a song that finds them making an appeal to a woman that they pine for so deeply that their sanity depends on the love connection being made. And to make the give-and-take complete, The Ton3s collaborate with uber talented Tarriona “Tank” Ball, front woman of the band Tank and the Bangas.
