Over the last few years, Bynoe has been building a new fan base with a notably smooth and sophisticated sound. Her latest single, “Closer & Closer,” featuring saxophonist Tim Bowman, is a compelling slow-jam free of frills and adorned with assuaging melodies and rhythms.
