December 5, 2019 — Tinashe is back. And she’s not taking prisoners this time.

Having left RCA to go independent, Tinashe has spent a year readying her just-released album Songs For You, and the results are worth the wait.  She has delivered 15 tracks of intimate and free alt-R&B that is more akin to her well-crafted, self-produced “bedroom” mixtapes than to her major-label offerings.  We feature here one of the album’s up-tempo standouts, “Know Better,” which has a decidedly 90’s vibe and which we expect to see climbing the Urban AC charts when word gets around.  Welcome back, Tinashe.  Enjoy.
