Griffin continues to offer appealing doses of sultriness and warmth on revered producer/DJ Tom Glide’s new single, “I Feel the Love.” Several mixes are available, but the Sunshine Dub Rework takes the cake with its expert meshing of soulful house elements and Griffin’s sweetly flowing passages. The lyrics are simple, yet inspiring, with her assured delivery gliding naturally from straight-ahead to freeform. The resulting atmosphere is one which should hold appeal alike for dancin’ folks who like to stay on the floor until the early hours of the morning and those simply looking for a positive joint with an easily pulsating groove.
