(March 23, 2018) We always love hearing new music from the great Toni Braxton, and she continued that string of greatness last Fall with the single "Deadwood" and last month with "Long As I Live." Today, Toni is releasing her new album Sex & Cigarettes, and it is a stylistic return for this soul music star, though we could do without the f-bombs on a couple of the album cuts.
One of the winners from the new album is the attractive midtempo, "Sorry." It is a near perfect vehicle for her familiar vocal stylings, and is a beautiful, contemporary song with an aural nod to some of her great 90s work.
