(October 30, 2020) Since the time she started writing songs from the piano at eleven years old, it was clear that Vivian Green would evolve into an artist who yearned to express herself in many ways.  And those who have followed the singer/songwriter since her debut in 2002, A Love Story, have been consistently blown away by her electrifying voice as she has registered several Billboard R&B Adult Contemporary hits (“Emotional Rollercoaster,” “Get Right Back to My Baby,” i.e.) and sparked a newness to jazz classics such as Cole Porter’s “Love for Sale.” Yes, Green has experienced her artistry moves that have occasionally fallen by the wayside. But thanks to a persevering spirit and a focus on her musical goals, Green continues improving upon each project she endeavors.

Teaming with producer/rapper Kwame who signed her to Make Noise Recordings in 2015, Green is about to release her most diverse project exploring the many levels of love, Love Absolute.  Green’s latest contribution to First Listen and Love Absolute’s first single, “You Send Me,” is painted with a soft electronic percussive backdrop.  “You Send Me” transports the listener into the deepest ecstasy of romance: “In that moment of time/It's a pinnacle/More than physical.”  Of course, Green’s swift, powerful lead and angelic backing harmonies guide the intimacy of love divine.   Enjoy the moment.
