(February 3, 2021) We’ve been following talented Macedonian born and Berklee College educated singer/guitarist Vladimir Cetkar for a few years now. His always attractive blend of R&B and jazz often recalls the heyday of the great George Benson.

In his newest music video for the song "I Remember," Vladimir sings to the "Goddess of Love" on an upbeat 70s-style number with lush orchestration and his everpresent guitar work. He also shows off his formidable falsetto on the number, which is the second single, from his album Heavenly.

He tells us about the song, “The track was recorded at Dubway Studios in NYC. In the recording process I was using a live rhythm and String sections orchestrated by me and reminiscing a more classic Disco approach with elements of soft funk. The lyrics is about beautiful memories and adventures with loved ones which in this difficult times of pandemic and limited traveling freedom are important in keeping us mentally healthy.”

“I Remember” provides a nice stylistic flashback to the disco era and has a hooky melody to boot. Check it out below and welcome Vladimir back to SoulTracks.d
