First Look: The Chi-Lites' Marshall Thompson pays tribute to his deceased partners

    The Chi-Lites are one of our all-time favorite groups, and co-founder Marshall Thompson has kept the fire burning even after the deaths of group members Eugene Record, Robert "Squirrel" Lester and Craedel Jones, both touring and recording regularly, and making folks in the Windy City proud.     Marshall has written an autobiography called Last Man Standing that will be issued in May of this year. It will tell the story of his life and of the Chi-Lites.  In the meantime, Marshall has just recorded a tribute to his deceased group members with a new version of the classic Chi-Lites tune, "Coldest Days of My Life."  It is a touching tribute to three great singers who are still missed to this day.
