Led by the expressive baritone and songwriting of Marcell Russell, they were nominated for multiple SoulTracks Readers' Choice Awards and became an instant favorite.  Well, we became big fans of Marcell and we've been anxiously awaiting his solo debut album, The Serenade and the Sermon

As we wait, Marcell has just issued a new song and video about a topic that isn't often covered in modern music:

"I wrote this song to show that everyone's pain needs to be addressed. Manipulating another person in order to minimize your own pain is abusive whether it's through emotions, forms of abandonment, physical, or verbal it's wrong, and it happens way too often regardless of gender, race, age or culture. When you force your expectations on another person as to how you want to be treated and they never agreed to your expectations, that is also a form of abuse. You have the power to stop abuse in relationships no matter who you are." -Marcell
