Flashback Soul: Aretha Franklin & Smokey Robinson Duet on “Ooh Baby Baby”

    The catalyst here was the legendary Don Cornelius, host of Soul Train, who innocently asked Aretha Franklin, with Smokey Robinson seated right next to her, whether she “remembered”  any of Smokey’s tracks. What happened next is something stunningly beautiful, an impromptu duet for the ages. Enjoy.
