As a child, KG was introduced to classical, jazz and soul music by her parents.  That gift of music turned out to be KG's best friend that carried her through the joys and pains of her childhood.  From a classically trained pianist by age five to a finalist in South African Idol at age sixteen, she always took the art of music seriously.  Growing up in the heavy political climate of South Africa , KG (aka Kgomotso Tsatsi) experienced plenty of challenges.  Yet she always knew where to turn in expressing anything that life dished out.   And there are plenty of emotions on display from this singer/songwriter/musician on her debut EP, The Art of Love

This Black Honey Records release centers on KG's compelling songwriting and her versatility as a vocalist.  The lead single, "In Love," kicks off the disc with a passionate bluesy performance that could match Alecia Keys.  "Stix and Stones" delivers smooth transitioning between the intense rock swagger and KG's sultry rap.  Besides the aforementioned, the other four tracks on The Art of Love clearly show off KG's best friend in all its glory.
