We met the immense talent of Cecile McLorin Salvant in 2013, when she released her stunning debut album, Woman Child, and, if that wasn't enough, we heard her perform as part of the Mack Avenue SuperBand with their annual live album recorded at the Detroit Jazz Festival. To call her a young artist to watch is an understatement. Though only 26 years old Cecile mixes elements of jazz, blues, classical and soul like an artist who has been honing her skills for decades. We were excited when we heard that Cecile was returning this Fall with her new album, For One To Love, and our expectations were met with this gem. It shows the further development of the chanteuse whose songwriting skills match her vocals.
