SoulTracks Lost Gem: George Duke, Stanley Clarke and Gerald Alston are "Right By My Side"

    It's rare that you can get two musical legends together, but three? That's what happened when, in 1991, jazz men George Duke and Stanley Clarke joined together for their Clarke/Duke Project album 3 and brought along Manhattans' lead singer Gerald Alston for a beautiful balled called "Right By My Side." The resulting song may not have been a bit hit, but it was a very memorable song.
