I Never Lost My Praise was recorded live at the Reid Temple African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church, Glenn Dale, MD by none other than Tramaine Hawkins (affectionately known as “Lady Tramaine.”)

The songs highlight the same flair, poise and anointing that we have received from Lady Tramaine for over 30 years. This project is produced by Walter “Jaime” Hawkins (son of Gospel music legends Walter & Tramaine Hawkins, musical director, musician and producer for artists Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Lauryn Hill, Destiny’s Child, Dwayne Wiggins, and Donell Jones’ “You Know That I Love You”) and Kurt Carr “(For Every Mountain,” “The Lord Is Strong And Mighty,” “We Declare War,” “Set The Atmosphere,” and Byron Cage “The Presence Of The Lord Is Here.”) Her singing trademark of power, praise and worship continues throughout this project, from “Excellent Lord” (featuring Carr) to “Don’t Count Me Out,” the title track and her personal testimony, “I Never Lost My Praise” (featuring Patrick Lundy and The Ministers of Music). ” Like Never Before” offers the traditional, toe-tapping feel and sound that is not only a favorite of the Pentecostal faith but also a familiarity style of Carr’s. And the album shines on “I Need You” and a modern version of “Oh Happy Day,” penned by Edwin Hawkins over 40 years ago.
