March 14, 2011 - ATLANTA, GA: Atlanta’s Next Best! 3.0 is a unique competition for Atlanta’s brightest stars in the following areas: jazz instrumentalist, jazz vocalist & R&B vocalist.
With auditions March 21 and March 22 from 7:00pm - 10:00pm at Loews Atlanta Hotel located 1065 Peachtree Street Atlanta, Georgia 30309, the opportunity will provide a training ground, breathing new “life” into an industry where its’ message of supporting live music is paramount.
Audition Information:
Be performance ready
Perform a live audition piece no longer than 2:00 in length
Provide a headshot and bio
Winner will need a valid passport to participate
Winnings: The winner of Atlanta’s Next Best! 3.0 will receive an all expense paid trip to the Saint Lucia Jazz Festival 2011 and perform a 30-45 minute concert during the festival on Saturday, May 7th. The winner of the Atlanta’s Next Best! competition will share the stage with some of the world’s premiere jazz & R&B talent: Ledisi, Regina Carter, Angelique Kidjo, Trey Songz, Maceo Parker, the Yellow Jackets, John Legend, and Chuck Brown among many more
