    Hey there my Soultracks fam!

Out Da Box Media and Soultracks will be bringing you a little something special. Over on Soultracks, we will be featuring a few of the fantastic videos Out Da Box TV has been steady producing, on some of our favorite soul trailblazers and icons. They not only have interviews with soul artists, but dabble in hip hop as well. The best of both worlds. Out Da Box TV asks great questions and in return, receives some pretty reflective and contemplative answers. The interviews may seem short, but they sure do pack a full load of information. We learn a little more about artists we love, everyday.

So today, I decided to begin with an interview that was done in September 2011, with the lovely songbird - Goapele. As we know, Goapele just released her recent album Break Of Dawn (which is very high on my "must listen to" list). She has had major success since her single "Closer" from her debut album Even Closer and everyone has been waiting patiently for this album's arrival. Well, the wait is finally over with the sexy single "Play." And not only is music on the forefront, but Goapele is charging forward and jumping into acting, as she now has a role in the remake of the classic film Sparkle

Out Da Box TV spoke to Goapele about quiet a few varying topics - from  music and life, to her work with the youth and moving forward by the teachings of her activist parents. There is a lot to learn in the eleven minute interview. Enjoy and take a peek for yourself.

    See y'all soon...
