Luckiest Girl, with its attractive cover, is as stimulating outside as what is inside; Rosey explodes on her opening track, "It's A Ruse," a Big Band/Pop/Jazz bluesy song (which Rosey calls her "word of warning" to up and coming artist). "Who Am I" is reminiscent of the Bossa Nova era, while "Love" is seductive and passively calming, with various expressions of love. Big Band lovers will take note of "Those Eyes," while "Hand In Hand" is a passionate wedding song.
With Luckiest Girl, Rosey establishes herself as a versatile singer and songwriter, who should gather a following with this strong effort. Highly Recommended
