S.E.L. (Soulful Emma Louise) epitomises everything about modern contemporary British soul music today. Smart, sophisticated, sexy and with a truely unique sound, 2010 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for her.

Having discovered her love for music at the tender age of five, S.E.L. began picking up the violin and playing the piano and since has failed to look back.  Upon completing a successful degree in music the classically trained singer has been quick to establish herself on the London soul scene working with industry heavyweights like Alicia Keys.

S.E.L. has also collaberated with reggae pioneer Sanchez and Blue's Duncan James, arranging vocal harmonies and performing backing and lead vocals.

S.E.L. is currently performing with the legendary London based group Soul 2 Soul. Soul 2 Soul is the brain child of life-long London soul man Jazzie B responsible for huge hits like "Keep on Movin" and "Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)".

Jazzie B explains: "Enjoying the breathiness of S.E.L's vocal on this track. Loving the vibe. Its necessary for all soul lovers. "Necessary" sounds like Spring!"

Performing with Soul 2 Soul has taken S.E.L. all over the world and the experience has given her the confidence to conquer it.

It will only be a matter of time before S.E.L. is mentioned in the same breath as her contemporaries. She certainly has the talent and more importantly the voice and with her debut single "Necessary" hitting the shelves in May combined with multiple performances scheduled in the Capital you will be seeing a lot more of her in 2010.
